Hi there I'm Amber Morton!
I'm a 34 year old, 90s kid, wife to my husband of 10 years, Andrew and mama to 3 kiddos. I grew up in California, spent my high school and college years in Colorado, lived in Memphis TN for 4 years before finally making my way to Rutherford County TN! Growing up, I was always fascinated by all things crafty and sensory. One of my favorite childhood memories was when my parents built me a sandbox in our backyard! I love being part of the whole process building the sides and lining the bottom, going to H ome Depot to pick up the sand and then playing in it for hours! But if any of you grew up with a sandbox and had pets you know what happened next! It turned into our cats personal litter box and soon I wasn't able to play in it anymore. So, when I came across the indoor sandbox concept online I was obsessed! This led me to pursue opening Tennessee's first indoor sandbox in Rutherford County!
I have spent over 10 plus years combined babysitting, nannying, owning my own daycare and serving in kids ministry at my church. All these years taught me that clean and safe spaces for kids to be able to express themselves completely without fear are PRICELESS!
Now as a mom of 3 kids of my own. Alle 6, Arlo 3 and Aurora 6 months old. I want my kids to experience a place where sensory and creative play meet in the sandbox. My middle son was recently diagnosed with Autism. He is incredibly smart and amazing! After the diagnosis I realized more then ever he and other kids like him need a place like Dig It! They can get their sensory needs met, learn to collaborate with other kids, and have a non-judgmental space to be themselves. And if they need it l, so do other kids in their same age groups!
When I can find free time, I enjoy playing board games, crafting, hanging out with my mom friends, and struggle my kiddos. I’m passionate about the protection of childhood and innocence, and creating space for mamas to feel seen and valued. I believe in treating everyone with kindness, and doing everything in excellence with a dash of grace.

My name is Sunny Curl! I am 29 years old, married to my wonderful husband Daniel, and we have 3 children together! I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee but moved to Murfreesboro in 2022.
In my short life I haven’t had it easy. Being widowed at 24 with 2 small children, it made me a very strong person. At the same time, watching my kids lose a lot of innocence and childhood, it became my life mission to give them that. I have made it my goal to slow down, play with them, and give them a childhood they can look back on and smile!
After I remarried in 2022 to a very loving man, he adopted my 2 children and we have one together! When we moved to Rutherford County we were looking for a fresh start and we found just that. We LOVE this community!
Now we want to give back. We want to open Dig It! for kids just like mine. It’s a safe place for parents to watch and play with their little ones! It’s a fun and unique environment where kids can work on fine motor skills, creativity, social skills, working together, building confidence, and just being a kid!
I humbly consider myself very resourceful and a hard worker. I have had to figure a lot out on my own in my life. Nothing scares me and I’m not afraid of a challenge. I love children and I find joy in creating fun experiences for them. I believe that equips me to be successful at opening and running Dig It! Indoor sandbox LLC.
In my free time, I serve in our kids ministry at church, binge Netflix shows, get coffee, hike, cuddle on the couch with my kids, and hang out with my friends! I’m passionate about education, explorative play, sensory play, imaginative play and I believe in letting kids be kids! I also believe in giving parents a space to breathe and unwind, knowing their child is safely playing nearby.
I’m excited to connect with others who share similar interests and share Dig It! With our community! Help us make our dreams come true and give EVERY child an experience at our indoor sandbox they won’t forget!
